So yeah…a LOT of stuff.
The design of this palette is pretty neat, but also kind of annoying. I don’t mind the zipper or the sequins, or all that, even though I’m not too excited by it’s outward appearance. It’s the top portion of the palette when it’s opened that bothers me. The to-go palette up on top has nothing there to secure it in place. At the moment, I still have the stickers on it to keep it from falling off. But once those lose their stickiness, this guy is just going to fall out and move all over the place. I’m afraid that while transporting the palette, it’ll come loose and end up nicking one of the bottom shadows. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
Anyway, I do think it is cool that they have that mini palette included. I just wish it had a clasp or something. That little palette has a blush, bronzer, highlighter, and some shadows in it. So if you don’t want to take this giant case with you while you travel or do your makeup on the go, you can just grab this and it has almost everything you need to do a complete look! When you remove the smaller palette, you’ll see that there’s a good sized mirror underneath it! Pretty cool!
This palette is currently listed on Sephora.com for $59. According to the website, it is a $394 value. It is limited edition, considering that it is a holiday palette. Is this going on your wish list??
Now let’s get into the swatches and stuff!
That’s it for today! I’ll try to post the swatches of my other holiday palettes soon.
